Bio

Hailing from the rural town of West Townsend, Massachusetts, Time & Lepp are the independent hip-hop duo who’ve exploded on the scene. They’ve laid claim to audiences across New England with their raw energy and top-tier lyricism. With their unique blend of boom-bap swing and master-level lyrics, Time & Lepp are quickly making a name for themselves in the world of hip-hop and music entrepreneurship.

Time, one half of the lyrical duo, grew up in the neighboring town, where he was exposed to the passion of hip hop at a young age. He began as early as 12 years old, developing his craft with a strong foundation from influences like Wu-Tang Clan, Black Star, and Nas. Lepp, the other half, honed his skills alongside Time with identical inspirations and together recorded some of their earliest tracks in the small bedroom of Lepp’s parent’s house. Rhyming together at such an early age has helped mold their performance, as “steel sharpens steel.” Eventually, the duo joined forces with their late mentor and producer/MC, Jazzscapez, who expanded their minds by teaching the true essence of the art form.

Together, Time and Lepp create hard-hitting and introspective music that addresses issues like the struggles of everyday life,  hustling, and its complexities. Their first small project, “The Time & Lepp E.P.,” is a first-hand look at the skill level during this early period. That project, released under the MASSacre Music Group label, has garnered local acclaim for its masterclass in rhyming.

Time and Lepp have classic appearances on LFOD radio and have performed alongside the likes of Mobb Deep, Royce Da 5’9”, Ghostface Killah, KRS-One, Nappy Roots, Dead Prez, R.A. the Rugged Man, Das EFX, Murs, Ces Cru, Snowgoons, Termanonlogy, Meyhem Lauren, Esoteric and many more.

With their sights set on the top of the hip-hop world, Time and Lepp are committed to staying true to their roots and using their music as a platform to promote aspiring artists. They’ve pillared their own media company, “MadNice Media.” Keep an eye out for their upcoming projects, including a collaboration with other New England-based artists in the near future.
